What You’ll Do:

Join New York Life’s Human Resources team and gain hands-on experience in shaping the future of our workforce. Our Human Resources pathway offers exposure to multiple areas within HR, giving you the opportunity to apply your skills, grow professionally, and make meaningful contributions.

Talent Management – Partner on programs focused on employee engagement, performance, and development.

DEI Center – Support initiatives that advance inclusion across the organization through programming, partnering with Employee Resource Groups (ERGS) and more.

You’ll gain exposure to HR strategy and operations, while developing communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.

This pathway is ideal for students who are passionate about working with people, curious about how organizations attract, develop, and retain talent, and eager to contribute to initiatives that shape employee experiences. It’s a great fit for those who enjoy building relationships, communicating effectively, and applying critical thinking to solve human capital challenges in a corporate environment.

What You’ll Bring:

Must be enrolled at an accredited 4-year university or college with anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2030.

Preferred Skills:

Demonstrated leadership or meaningful contributions in campus or community extracurricular activities Strong written and verbal communication abilities Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships Innovative mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Prior internship experience preferred, but not required
