Career Services for Students
Career development and the job search process can be both a fun and challenging experience. The University of Kansas provides career support through four primary career services offices, each serving distinct academic and professional pathways.
- The Business Career Services office supports students in the School of Business with resources such as advising, employer connections, and professional development programming, housed in Capitol Federal Hall.
- The Engineering Career Center offers specialized advising, employer outreach, and career programming for engineering students, operating from LEEP2 and collaborating closely with industry partners to facilitate internships and full‑time opportunities.
- The Journalism and Mass Communications Career Center, located in Stauffer-Flint Hall, provides career guidance, networking opportunities, and employer engagement tailored to journalism and communications students.
- The University Career Center serves the general KU student population across all majors, offering career advising, job and internship search support, resume reviews, career fairs, and access to resources like Handshake, all from its headquarters in Summerfield Hall.
