Our club is part of an international scientific and education organization: the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB). We offer networking, research, leadership, STEM outreach, and professional development opportunities, aligning with the ASBMB’s mission: “to advance the science of biochemistry and molecular biology and to promote the understanding of the molecular nature of life processes”.
One-hour meetings are held every other week and include informational presentations, guest speakers, and workshops designed to advance your professional and research skills. Additionally, we strive to inspire K-12 students to pursue careers in biochemistry or molecular biology through our outreach efforts within the Douglas County area.
